This is Mark's honest review of Forever Affiliate, an affiliate marketing course from Andrew Hansen. The course teaches a systematic approach to finding high-profit affiliate offers with winnable buyer keywords, then building small test sites before committing to full buildouts.
What Is Forever Affiliate?
Forever Affiliate is a video-based affiliate marketing course organized into four sections: Theory, Phase 1 (finding offers and keywords), Phase 2 (building test sites and making initial sales), and Phase 3 (growing proven sites to maximize profits). The course contains over 50 videos with step-by-step instruction.
Andrew Hansen, a long-time affiliate marketer and friend of the show, designed the course around a core insight: most affiliates waste enormous time and money building out sites that never convert. His solution is a structured testing process that identifies winners before you invest heavily.
Course Breakdown
Theory Section (3 Videos)
The shortest section but potentially the most valuable. Andrew explains why affiliate marketing still works and provides a roadmap for the entire course. Understanding the why behind each step keeps you motivated through the tactical work ahead.
Phase 1: Finding Offers and Keywords (15 Videos)
This section tackles two critical skills: finding affiliate offers worth promoting and evaluating whether they are worth pursuing. Andrew introduces his Analysis Funnel, a systematic method for determining niche profitability. He walks through the process using live examples, showing exactly how he evaluates real offers in real time.
Phase 2: Testing with Mini Sites (20 Videos)
The standout feature of the course. Even offers that pass the Analysis Funnel might not convert in practice. Andrew's approach is to test offers on small mini sites with minimal promotion to gauge whether your keywords can rank and your offers will convert. This prevents the common mistake of spending months building a site that never makes a sale. The section covers domain registration, website building, and content creation.
Phase 3: Scaling Winners (10 Videos)
Once you have proven a site converts in Phase 2, Phase 3 teaches full promotion and search engine optimization. All information is written for post-Panda and post-Penguin SEO, making it relevant to the current search landscape.
Mark's Assessment
Mark gives the course a strong recommendation based on the quality of instruction, the logical structure, and the emphasis on testing before scaling. Andrew provides multiple case studies of students generating hundreds of dollars per month from just a handful of daily visitors. There is nothing magic about the approach. It is simply smart, systematic affiliate marketing.
The course was offered at a surprisingly low price point. An upsell for private coaching was available at a higher price for those wanting personal guidance from Andrew.
What's Changed Since This Review
Mark published this review in early 2013. The affiliate marketing landscape has evolved significantly.
Google's algorithm updates have continued to reshape SEO. The post-Panda and post-Penguin strategies in Phase 3 were current at the time but would need updating for today's search environment. Core Web Vitals, helpful content updates, and E-E-A-T guidelines now play major roles in ranking affiliate content.
The mini site testing approach remains conceptually sound. While the specific tactics around link building and keyword targeting have evolved, Andrew's core principle of testing before scaling is arguably more important than ever. With higher competition and Google's preference for authoritative content, validating a niche before investing heavily is smart business.
Affiliate marketing has shifted toward authority sites. The industry has moved away from thin mini sites toward comprehensive, expert-driven content. Programs like Amazon Associates have reduced commission rates, making the offer selection skills taught in Phase 1 even more critical.
Key Takeaways
- Test affiliate offers on small sites before committing to full buildouts
- A systematic approach to offer evaluation prevents wasted effort
- High-profit affiliate offers with buyer-intent keywords can generate meaningful income from modest traffic
- The Analysis Funnel concept for evaluating niches is the most valuable framework in the course

I purchased the Forever Affiliate package a few weeks ago. There was an advisory note at the end of my purchase transaction that said I would be contacted via e-mail soon with my username and password so I can access the site. Up to this point I haven’t heard a thing. I even went to the affiliate that I bought through and asked what was up – why I hadn’t been contacted. The person was kind enough to follow up and told me they would contact Mr. Hansen and tell him to get in touch with me. Still, there has been no contact. Do I really need a username and password to access the material, or can I just start using the material?
I guess you can tell I’m a greenhorn when it comes to this affiliate stuff. Can you get Andrew to acknowledge my purchase and have him contact me as he said he would? Thanks for any help. Have a successful week.
Hey William — very weird thing. As we discussed by email, your experience was not typical at all. I never did figure out what happened with your login information — but I did confirm with Andrew that you got a full refund.
Very sorry you had trouble, and hope to see you around in the future.
Good luck.
Thanks!
Mark
I just bought Andrew’s course through your affiliate link after listening to the podcast. I really cannot believe he did not make the videos mobile/iPad friendly. I don’t know Andrew but I do know how popular mobile is, so I’m really surprised an Internet Marketer missed the boat on something so basic.
Hey Sean; Thanks for your purchase.
I completely agree with you. When I was reviewing the course prior to launch, Andrew I discussed this at length. The problem is that the Amazon S3 security (https stuff) that he is using is not compatible with non-flash devices. He tried (and I tested) several HTML5 based solutions, but could never get it to work. In the end, he made the hard decision that security for the course material trumped iPad compatibility. Having actually paid for the course myself with real money, I am glad that others can’t get it for free — but I wish it worked on the iPad.
I am told that you can view the vids on the iPad using the iSwifter app from the app store. I have not tried it, but I agree that should work.
Regards,
Mark

I have been a listener for quite sometime. You site is great. I also like the intro music – I wouldn’t change it at all.
I listened to your review and interview several times. Forever Affiliate is on my computer tonight – thanks for the recommendation. Now I plan to “Go Forth!” đ
I will send you an update and you and I can compare “notes” on progress.
Cheers
Brad
Mark,
I went to Andrew’s site and there are no posts from this year. Is this system still working and worth the investment?
rharper He’s been working on Rankings Institute — which is a traffic course and a nice companion to FA. Â Yes, I still think that FA is the best affiliate course out there. Â Having said that, the weakest part of FA is the traffic part (thus the creation of the additional course). Â The make a great companion together — but I would do FA first and see how your results look, then make a decision about RI. Â So, bottom line is that I still recommend FA.
masonworld what about now? it’s 2 years afterward…and the internet is infamous for how quickly things change.
What is the actual cost of the product and the upsell. You might be wondering why am asking for this, am in love with product, clicked the add to cart button, the price i saw was $197 instead of $97. Need clarification as soon as possible, Thanks, all the best,God bless you.
