The testimonial section was the best part. One fake user testimonial read something like: I used to be an honest person, but now I do not have to be. It is just so much easier this way. I have gained a lot of productivity by not having to think about doing the right thing. The attribution was to an investment banker, which was a perfect satirical touch.<\/p>\n
What makes Google April Fools pranks brilliant is not just the humor — it is the marketing strategy behind them.
