MICHELLE JACOBSON
DESIGNER
Michelle brings a diverse design and marketing background to France Lavin Design giving her insight into many aspects of the world of interior design.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale where she received her Residential Design Degree, Michelle began her career by opening a design firm in Miami, quickly garnering a reputation as a designer with ideas and a sense of style that resonated with the image conscious community.
Michelle’s next job took her to New York City where she carved her niche into the competitive world of NY real estate using her command of design, marketing and networking to catapult herself onto (The Real Deal Magazine’s) New York’s “Top Brokers Under 30” list. “Whether I was selling a home or creating an enticing space to live in, I knew how to make it happen,” she says. Concurrent with her work in real estate, Michelle enhanced her education and experience through an apprenticeship in the art world with Max Lang and Rita Krauss guiding clients making serious acquisitions to informed decisions.
Building on her interest in art and design, Michelle moved to Denver as the exclusive representative for a fabric system. Utilizing her strong networking skills, she introduced herself to the Denver design community. Those introductions, combined with her abundant energy, past experience and keen eye helped her to increase company sales by 270%.
Most recently, Michelle turned her sights to her next challenge and joined the France Lavin Design team. “The foundation of a true design philosophy comes from passion but is built through a track record of solid experience. Each of my jobs has helped me build another level of skills by training my eye and honing my style enabling me to bring the best possible product to the client,” Michelle concludes.
